Come join for an online craft night on Facebook Live Thursday May 7th @ 8PM PST!
We will go through the painting of geometric designs on pots and planning succulents together. It’s super easy to do and you only need a small number of supplies. If you live on the CA Central Coast send me a message to get your own free kit of supplies to follow along. If you aren’t local you are welcome to follow along and I’ve linked the supplies I used below.
If you have a League of Legends fan on your Christmas or Birthday list this year there are a lot of great gifts available on Etsy! Check out a roundup of a bunch of my favorites in League of Legends gift guide below.

Ever since we’ve had our house I’ve put out a different wreath depending on the season or holiday. It’s a tradition that I carried over from my Mom and it makes me feel like it’s home. What is a challenge with this approach is that the wreaths are rather large and take up a bunch of space when not in use. When I happened upon this page, Spring Is In The Air. Time For Front Porch Changes., it was so perfect for allowing for decorating while taking up as little space as possible.
The urn all dressed up for St. Patricks Day.
Showing patriotic flair for 4th of July.
It even dressed up for my son’s race car birthday party
This has been so much fun and way easier to store than the wreaths of old. It’s really inexpensive, so give it a try! I got all of the supplies at my local Michaels.
When we were expecting our son, we decided that Christmas Day was a perfect time to tell everyone. So we thought it would be fun to show a picture of our tree with three stockings instead of two. Since we didn’t have any stockings, I got the crazy idea that I would make them myself even though I had no clue how to sew at the time.
I found a stocking pattern on the internet, took the bit of fabric that we used to wrap around the pillars at our wedding [below] and used Steam-A-Seam to adhere the edges. This ended up making the stockings very blocky, because Steam-A-Seam was never meant to be used in this way, nor in rounded edges, but it worked for what I needed. Plus, I was really sick with the pregnancy, and wasn’t about to try to figure out another method! To hang it I found some tree ribbon that we never ended up using and hot glued it to the edge of the stocking and tied it to the banister. We are still using these 4 years later, but someday there will hopefully be a post with a new and improved version now that I can sew :)
